 For example; book , pen, car, school , girl , boy.

How many types of noun.

There are five types of noun .

1)     Common

2)     Proper

3)     Material

4)     Collective

5)     Abstract  

What is common noun

The name of any common thing which is common every where is called common noun.

Note; common noun , we should write with the small letter at the beginning.

For example

                place 

                city 

                school

                hospital 

                center .

What is proper noun?

Person proper thing and proper animal is called proper noun.

for Example; proper noun of person: 

                                  Asif,

                                  Basit Ali 

                                  Sana.

Proper noun of place: 

                             Noble  center

                             Imagine center

Proper noun of things: 

                             Nakia mobile

                             Al Quran.

                                                 What is material noun?

Material noun is the name of matter of which any other thing is made.

For example   

                            Mutton

                            copper

                            rubber  

                            Gold

                            Milk 

                            iron.

                                               What is collective noun?

A noun that shows collection.

For example

                     Team

                     Group    

                     Nation

                     Police

                     People

                     Public     

What is an abstract noun?

An abstract noun is the name of an action a quality an ideas or a state of some things that is called an  abstract noun.

For example: 

                       Theft

                       love 

                       thought 

                       fight   

                      movement 

                       Death 

                      Friendship
