Past prefect continuous

 


Past prefect continuous tense=S+h.v+been+v4….

We normally use the past perfect continuous for something we had done serval time up to a point in the past . Continued to do after that.

= structure; subject +had been+ verb with ing.

Example of past prefect continuous tense.

1)     I had been watching the cricket match.

2)     my mom had been cooking for quest.

3)     I had been preparing assignment.

4)     the poet had been writing romantic poem.

5)     you had been listening songs.

6)     I had been watching the concert.

7)     we had been writing a story.

8)     She had been travelling around the world.

9)     Ali had been playing with us.

10)    Ali had been studying with us.
